  • The North Dakota Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, has announced its deadline for applications for ESTARL scholarships for the current school year.  ESTARL stands for Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership.

Applications for the scholarships must be received by the 1st of May each year.

Scholarships are available to full-time students preparing for the ministry, mission field, director of religious education, church music, youth leadership, or other church related fields.  If they are serving as a intern during the year they are applying, they are urged to apply the following year since those serving in intern positions are not eligible for an award during the year of internship.

ESTARL has been a continuing project of the Order of Eastern Star since 1952, with scholarships given annually, to be applied to a student's tuition, books, or other fees.   Any person preparing for a career in religious leadership may request an application from the secretary of the Eastern Star Chapter in the applicant's area.
